QuestWright Launches!

A brief how do you do!

I will never tell another person that writing a book is easy. It’s sweaty, grindy, tiring, and filled with anxiety. Do I place my character here? What if he’s too mean? What if this is taken out of context? How do I write this scene?

It’s the constant fear that what you have doesn’t work and will never work. That’s why impostor syndrome is so prevalent in Writers. You never know if what you’re doing is right until after you’ve already done it and shown the world. Then, it’s a roll of the dice.

But I choose to push that fear to the side. Even if it didn’t work, I’d still put my stories out there with the vain hope of writing full-time. Right now I’m on track to produce three books this year. Symphony 4 finished up earlier, QuestWright one should be done in October, and I have a planned Novella after that (The Boy and the Stick). But that’s not the title of this post.

My newest story, QuestWright, just published on Royal Road!

Cover and blurb!

In a world reshaped by the System, Cassio Vale was passed over three separate times. On his final chance, the System finally responds with a rarely seen Calling: QuestWright.

Tasked with drafting and assigning Quests in a world where survival is dependent on structure as much as strength, Cass must build his reputation from nothing, gain experience through smart delegation, and navigate a society held together by more than just blades.

He doesn’t wield a weapon. He doesn’t cast spells. But with each successful task, each connection made, and each system mastered, he’ll make the world just a little bit safer.

One Quest at a time.

Progress so far!

We’ve managed to hit 200 Followers in a little less than five days. That’s big #’s compared to Symphony, where I reached that amount after two weeks of sweaty work.

I’m very optimistic about this story, and the writing style is greatly different from my previous form. At 23 reviews and counting, we’re sitting just beneath the maximum possible score of 5/5. With only fifteen chapters released non-patreon, that’s huge!

Hopefully you check it out, and remember, Symphony Book 1 hits the ‘Zon on July 29th.

Thanks!
