Time’s diameter is no longer straight

Greater generations would create futures-

That would be greater thus

There is no greater for us

Time it was so long ago,

A house and family were the expected of all

You never needed to crawl

You never felt the woe

But the future holds such promise still

Of fiery mountains and losing wills

Of towering oceans and unexpected chills

Of broken promises and skipping the bill

Future generations have so far still to go

It may end just as they grow

AbnormalVAverage

J.D Mullenary Sr., a.k.a. AbnormalVAverage, is a teacher and Esports coach based in Texas. He grew up on the beach in California, enjoying its temperate climate and boundless enthusiasm for life. After completing his first degree at nineteen, he felt that he needed to grow up and discover new experiences. With that in mind, he joined the military, earning a second degree in the process, and served for four years. After receiving his honorable discharge, he married the love of his life, helped raise his two sons, and returned to college with a focus on English and teaching. Now, he spends his time writing when he can, teaching students and Esports players the values of critical thinking, while still fostering all of the strays his wife brings to their home.
